Avonia harveyi sp. nov.
80km SW BrandbergQuesta minuscola specie, scoperta del 2011, è per ora nota in una singola località tra Spiztkoppe e Uis in Namibia, dove vive su affiormaneti calcarei in terreni profondi appena 2-3cm. Forma un caudex globoso fino a 2cm in diametro.
This little species, discovered in the 2011, it's known only for a single location between Spitzkoppe and Uis in Namibia, where it live on limestone outcrops in very shallow soil, with just 2-3cm of depth. It develops a globose caudex up to 2cm in diameter.
