Strumaria unguiculata
S. unguiculata è una specie con 2-3 foglie ellittiche o lanceolate, verde chiaro, che si restringono improvvisamente alla base. I fiori sono caratterizzati dalle "finestre" che si formano tra un tepalo e l'altra a causa della loro forma. L'areale di provenienza è ristretto alla Doring River valley.
Nel primi 1-2 anni di vita questa specie ha foglie lunghe e pelose, solo successivamente sviluppa le foglie glabre ed erette tipiche degli adulti. In foto un vaso di semina con entrambe i tipi di foglie.
